It is a code language that defines product attributes. For example, a button. You can name it "main-button-hover", which means you can manage these components uniformly.
How to use that
Designers can use it in figma, it has a plugin call Token studio. I use that make a website base on my project1.

It can provide a kind of repository for recording and tracking style choices and changes. You can manage these components uniformly.
When using tokens for design and implementation, style updates will propagate consistently through an entire product or suite of products. You also can better connect with engineers and increase the efficiency of subsequent changes to the project.
